As required by the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, all electrical and electronic safety systems (emergency buttons, photoelectric barriers, sensitive mats, interlocks, etc.) must be installed on the machine according to the result of PL (Performance Level) calculations as required by EN 139849-1.
We prepare for our customers the required Performance Level counts and reports by defining the PLr (required Performance Level), defining the SF safety functions, and through the study of the electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, we define what systems and equipment the customer needs to install on the machine so that the safety systems present the correct redundancies as required.
